Well we took the girls (my sister-in-law and her daughter and Hailey and I) to Disney Princess on Ice. We dressed them up like princesses and sat through a cute show of princesses and princes and all sorts of Disney characters skating around the ice. It was a lot better then I expected it to be and they even had fireworks at the end that the girls totally loved. It was fun and Hailey loved being dressed up as a princess.
Later came Easter and at preschool the students made Easter Bunny cakes. Hailey's was so proud of it that I have to show it off. Also she got her new Easter dress that she picked the material for me to make it from. Of course if you know anything about Hailey it just had to be pink. She had a lot of fun Easter with her Easter basket and hunting for eggs.

Then in April Rob had Graduation!!!! We were so excited to finally be done with his masters degree. He did a great job on his thesis and Hailey and I were so proud of him. Of course I made him walk at graduation, he got to wear the cool hood with his robe. Hailey loved watching Rob walk in and go across the stage and everything.

Well February is a great month for us because it is Hailey's birthday. I love doing fun things for here. This year was especially interesting. At the beginning of the year Hailey decided she really wanted to go to Chuck E Cheese for her birthday and invite some friends. Well we thought this might be fun so we said sure. Then she made her list of friends. There were 13 of them. We then informed her that she could either have all her friends and do a party at the house or just 6 or 8 friends at Chuck E Cheese. She chose the house and all her friends. I really thought she would go for Chuck E Cheese. I was wrong. So we ended up with a Scooby Doo theme and 14 children in the house. It was a lot of fun. Hailey and all her friends talked about for awhile after wards. We had dog tags, games, a piƱata and cake and ice cream. The only sad part was I totally forgot to take pictures through most of it. It was definitely a very fun 5 year old party. The first picture is the cake I made for her.

So she totally got spoiled at her birthday party and then later when we gave her our presents. We realized that if she was going to have friend parties we didn't need to buy her as much stuff.
Not only is Hailey's birthday in February but also her cousin Bethany is just a few weeks later. She turned four this year and so we did a combined family party for them. I made two cakes for this so that could each have one. I thought I would show a picture of these because I was pretty proud of how they turned out.

Well it is a new year. Back in November Hailey and Bethany did a read-a-thon so that they could go to a Curious George party in January. They were very excited and got to do lots of fun things at it. Here are some pictures to see. They were really excited to meet George but didn't really like the man with the yellow hat.

Also in January Kristi and Ryan had a new addition in the family. They named her Kimberlee. Hailey now had two new cousins to love on. She thought it was great.
